Prohibited content and conduct
Zync prohibits nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, harassment, threats, and content or conduct that endangers another person. These rules apply to profiles, posts, comments, messages and shared media.
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) are strictly prohibited. This includes grooming, sexual solicitation of children, sexualisation of children, sexual extortion, and creating, requesting, distributing or facilitating exploitative material, including generated or altered material.
Report concerns and block contact
Use Report content from a Chat message or Feed post or comment to send a report to Zync company support. You can follow the response in your support tickets. You may also contact legal@astricx.com for child-safety concerns or use Contact Us in the app.
Users can block direct contact and hide a blocked author's Feed posts, and manage these preferences under Settings → Privacy → Blocked users. Blocking does not hide shared group conversations; report concerning group content for company review.
Do not copy, download or resend suspected CSAM as evidence. Use the in-app content reference and a description of your concern. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Company review and enforcement
Astricx company support reviews reports and can hide violating content from app reads, record the decision in the support ticket, and take appropriate account action. A moderation decision may be reversed after review, but restoration does not recover content deleted by its author.
When Astricx obtains actual knowledge of CSAM, we remove or restrict access to it and escalate confirmed cases to the relevant regional authority or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, as applicable. Child-safety reports are handled according to applicable child-safety laws and our published standards.
First public launch: 13 and older
The first public release of Zync is for users aged 13 and older. Adult account holders may manage family profiles for children below 13, but those profiles do not provide child login access in this release. Users below the country-specific independent-account age still need guardian approval for their own login. Country-specific independent-account rules remain unchanged.
Child-safety contact
Astricx Child Safety Team: legal@astricx.com. This contact handles child-safety concerns and the escalation process described above.
These standards supplement our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
